Mint mark and stamp mark, 1st half 20th c. Model no.: 996. Form design: 1760/70 after an old Frankenthal model; decoration design: Paul Ludwig Trost (1878-1934); figure painting: Alfred Hagel (1885-1945), 1920s.
H 25,5 cm.
Baluster vase with two loop handles, acanthus leaf frieze, aperture lid and round base. Light green background, on both sides a cartouche with the purple painted depiction of Papageno or Papagena from W.A. Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute". Lid knob glued, 1 handle restored, on the underside of the foot 2 hairline cracks in the glaze.
