Scraping fork mark, late 18th century
Polychrome painted, gold decorated. H 23 cm.
Pear jug with rocaille flared handle and probably supplemented grape knob lid, on the outside a loop-crowned and flower-framed medallion with bird painting, verso a large floral bouquet. Pommel stem and scroll bumped, wall hairline crack, gold somewhat rubbed, underside chip on the stand.
