German painter and graphic artist, personal drawing teacher of Crown Prince Wilhelm (from 1919 Wilhelm of Prussia). During a bombing raid on Berlin in 1943, about 300 of his etching plates were destroyed, which were stored in the Kunstkupferstecherei Schütz.
