Pair of 4-flame girandoles.
Around 1845/50.
Bronze with original fire gilding, black marble. H 61 cm.
Very elaborately crafted candlestick with exceedingly rich, partly polished Reliefzier on the 3-sided base, vase shaft base and the crown with 3 volute arms as well as Napoleonic eagle figure as a flame extinguisher on the raised central spout. 2 minimal hairline cracks in the bronze, small chips and professional repair on the marble.
