Market movement with half-hour strike on (missing) bell, running. Faceted glazed white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute ring and Romaines hands.
Red marble, bronzed metal casting, bronze/brass recast. Approx. 53.5 x 31 x 18.5 cm. 7.8 kg.
Elegant case crowned by a girl with a dove (The Beloved Bird). Probably made after the model of the French sculptor Auguste Moreau (1834-1917). Use old and new parts.
