Elegant mantel clock with flower fairy "Fée des Fleurs". A.D. Mougin.
Marked "Henri Plé" on the base. Movement no. 2095.
Marked movement with half-hour strike on bell, does not run. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute ring and Romaines hands, marked "49 Boul[evar]d St. Martin Paris".
Red marble and bronzed metal casting, bronze/brass recast. Clock approx 52,5 x 30 x 16,5 cm, side plate H 38 cm. Total 12,4 kg.
Pendulum with Art Nouveau female figure as allegory of flowers on round natural base. Made according to the model of the French sculptor Henri Honoré Plé (1853-1922). In addition, 2 matching 1-flame candlesticks in vase form. Use of old and new parts, traces of age and corrosion spots, defects and retouching.
Without key and pendulum.
