Wrought iron painted black. 54 x 80 (without handles) x 52 cm. 77 kg.

Very heavy iron chest with riveted bands on all sides and on the lid. Front side 1 mock keyhole with decoration and 1 keyhole above. Hinged carrying handles on the sides. Hinged lid with central keyhole. Open lock mechanism in lid with 12 firing tumblers (8 latches + 4 deadbolts) and originally 2 fixed tumblers. Additional front lock with 3 firing latches. Inside hatchet without lock as well as lid retaining rod. 1 side panel with cutout (7 x 11 cm), 1 lid hinge pin and upper front keyhole aperture supplemented, key front lock missing, key lid lock with defective beard (thus does not close, locks blocked with woods), lock chapel supplemented (egg light preserved), 2 fixed tumblers and 1 stud loose enclosed as well as 3 shooting latches (these from another lock?), signs of age / use.
