Baroque bacchanal group. Ludwigsburg.

Height: 26 cm.
Model by Johann Christian Wilhelm Beyer 1765. colored painted, gold staffiert. Double C mark on the base. Partially restored visibly old: a break on the arm, drinking bowl, toes on one foot, horn, ears of the goat, a lower leg of the satyr boy, staff in satyr hand bumped, a horn missing.
Beyer, sculptor and painter, worked for Duke Carl Eugen von Württemberg 1759-1767. Created numerous models for the manufactory Ludwigsburg, 1768 in Vienna, 1770 court sculptor * Partner auction Bergmann.
