Large group of figures: Hercules and Omphale. KPM Berlin.

Hercules had to serve as atonement as a slave with Omphale. In blind love for her, he deigned to do whatever she asked, wearing women's clothes and spinning wool, whereas she wore his lion skin and carried the wooden club. When the atonement was over, he realized his delusion and left her. Colorfully painted, gold staffed. Blue scepter mark, red orb mark, black war mark, painter's mark, incised mark, press mark. Restored on the reverse of Cupid's neck, a wing, an arm attachment, a hand, tip of the club.
