Mark art department main factory Selb, around 1920. signed "A. Geigenmüller".
Polychrome painted, gold-staffed. H 57,5 cm.
Cylindrical body with two sinuous acanthus leaf handles, fluted shaft and round base, on square plinth. On the front a relief gold painted oval medallion depicting a farrier scene, after a painting by Philips Wouwerman (1619-1668). Lid missing, minimal gold wear.
