Height: 44.5 cm.
Model by Rudolf Hölbe 1885. counterpart to model no. N 195 "Cupid, feeding nightingales". Colorfully painted, gold painted, mounted plinth. Press mark, sword marks, artist's signet. Branch and leaves, lyre sides restored.
Hölbe, sculptor, professor, studied at the academies in Leipzig and Dresden. Pupil of Johannes Schilling. Meissen manufactory acquired seven models in 1885-1899 * partner auction Bergmann.
