brass wheel movement with half-hour strike on bell. Function not tested. Ornate brass escutcheon with silvered numerals ring, Roman and Arabic numerals, arcade minutiae and iron hands, engraved "J J Maquet, Orloger à Burdinne" in round arch field.
Solid oak, dark stained. Approx. 233 x 56.5 x 29 cm.
Slim case with floral carving, fluting and partially openwork ornamentation. 3-sided glazed clock top with hipped roof. Signs of age and wear, partial slight defects, 1 loose star element.
