Model 1889, metal skull with tombac mountings, fluted silver-coloured peak (heavily rubbed) on a gold-coloured cloverleaf base. Scale chain with cloverleaf ends and Prussian and Imperial cockade. Probably original, leather sweat rim, front shield covered with former green leather (heavily darkened and with small defects) and neck shield covered with red velvet. An escutcheon attachment is missing.
