Helmet for guards regiment teams, with parade bush.

Black leather bell, gold-colored eagle and silver-colored guard star. Plate mounting with star screws and beaded mount. Gold-colored attachment with black buffalo hair. Scale chain and Prussian and Imperial cockade. Interior: leather sweatband and silk lining (partially defective), green and red visor leather. Chain imprint on the visor, neck visor somewhat irregular.
This combination of yellow guard eagle with silver star and black parade brush was only worn by the III Battalion of the 2nd Guards Regiment of Foot and the III Battalion of the Kaiser Alexander Guards Grenadier Regiment No. 1.
