Late 19th century Sweden.
Softwood, painted white and heightened with gold. Approx. 44 x 42 x 38 cm.
Elegant stool on 4 tapered column legs with palm leaf decoration and decorated frame with flowers and cymation, upholstered seat with "Bernadotte bleu" silk cover by Tassinari & Chatel typical of the style with laurel wreaths on a light blue background. Reworked, upholstery and cover added.
