Biedermeier sewing box.
Circa 1830.
Birch veneered, ebonized strips, several sewing utensils, including 1 silver needle box (hallmarked 835). 16 x 33 x 23 cm.
Plain casket, the lid ash veneer with green-painted sham box. Removable drawer with numerous sewing utensils in the many compartments. Restored with minimal additions, lid somewhat warped, filled anobia marks, few signs of age/use.
