Walnut veneered, cast iron, brass, steel. 20 x 53 x 46 cm. Tongue comb 27 cm, Ø plates 40 cm. Total weight 17.2 kg.
Large "music box" with moldings. "Engraving" with lyre on the hinged lid in the false cassette; color lithograph with company name and putti playing music on the lid. Tongue comb mounted on the star wheel on a gold-bronzed base plate and rim drive for plates with rim perforations. Polyphonically marked perforated plates, e.g. Ein Walzertraum, Loreley, Dolores, Auf den Wellen, Elfengrab, Bohemian etc. Some signs of age/use on the case and plates, 2 reeds restored. Movement plays with slight clanking noises, start function in need of overhaul, saw hole above the wind wheel. 1 plate with small chipping at the edge, 2 plates with edge crack, 2 plates with cracked edge.
