Market movement with torsion pendulum and locking lever. Function not tested. Marked, white chapter ring with Roman numerals and pierced hands.

5-sided glazed brass case with front door, beveled edges and slightly protruding base. Minimal signs of age and wear.
The Atmos clock was invented by the Swiss engineer Jean Léon Reutter around 1928 and patented by the watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre in the 1930s. The small amount of drive energy required is generated by changing the temperature or air pressure and stored in a spring. Atmos watches are famous for their longevity and precision.
