Blade marked "F.(?)D.L." in cursive script.
Blade L 85 cm, total L 102 cm.
Curved, single-edged blade with broad fuller and point in the back. Ribbed leather cover, brass hilt with three clasps and a small open guard plate, stamped "1.3.". Blade hallmarked "16". Bright metal scabbard with two movable rings. Similar to the one in Maier: Preuß. Blankwaffen, p. 619 f described piece.
