Capodimonte-style cup, saucer.
Height: 6 cm, ø 13.5 cm.
Colored painting with insects, gold decoration. Naturalistically painted animals in relief all around the wall, various mammals, ducks and insects. Curved I-handle in relief. Impression mark, sword marks. Saucer slightly restored, stand ring minimally bumped.
Probably Meissen c. 1750. In Beaucamp-Markowsky (1985) no. 159 a Meissen tabatiere c. 1750 with beetle, snail, butterflies and frog in relief. The butterflies are from common relief Meissen cover molds * partner auction Bergmann.
