All with the finely painted depiction of gallant couples in park landscapes. Pear jug with rocaille handle, snood and pommel lid (h 14.5 cm), tea caddy (without lid; h 10.5 cm), 2 coffee cups with rocaille handle (h 7 cm) and original saucers (Ø 13.5 cm), 4 bulbous cups with ear handles (H 4.5 cm) and original saucers (Ø 12 cm) and 1 quatrefoil bowl (L 17.5 cm). Partial wear to the gold, lid knob chipped, bump to the snipe, minimal bump to 1 saucer rim and 1 cup rim, glued chip to 1 saucer rim, 2 cups with small stand ring bumps, hairline crack to 1 cup handle.
All pieces are marked with inventory numbers of the Meissen City Museum. The Meissen collector and conservationist Max Andrä (1866-1946) made them available to the Meissen City Museum, which was redesigned in 1934, as a permanent loan. After reunification, the items on loan were returned to the heirs of the collector Max Andrä. These collection items were acquired from their estate.
