Purple-colored rose and cloud decoration with courting couples and cheerful cupid boys in blue, sugar bowl lid made of silver-plated metal with a semi-precious stone as a knob.
From the so-called "honeymoon service". Sugar bowl (h 10.5 cm), demitasse cup, saucer and plate. Hairline crack in the sugar bowl.
The service, designed by the Meissen artists Zepner, Strang and Werner, was intended for two people - the honeymoon couple. The special feature of the service lies in the combination of the different materials porcelain, glass and metal. Only around fifty of these services were produced.
