Embossed tower mark "Mettlach" with the addition "Ges. Gesch.", from 1887. model no. 2806.
Stoneware in green, blue and ivory, translucent white figure reliefs in the style of pâte-sur-pâte painting and Wedgwood ware, floral chromolite decoration. Bowl h 36 cm, plate Ø 42.5 cm.
Two-handled bowl with round foot and 2 antique-style figural scenes with god of wine, female allegory and putti, standards with the names of German cities. Domed lid with profiled handle, saucer with floral bands. Signs of age, bumped in places.
