Ebonized hardwood (walnut?) exterior, iron scales, brass weights. 2.5 17.5 x 9 cm.
Fine weight scales in the flat original box with 2 clasps on the hinged lid; traces of the missing label inside. Finely crafted beam balance with 1 brass plate. Complete set of the 18 original square coin weights with grip bar and inscription; additionally inscribed in red in the box.
