Ulane sabre, 1745/46.
Saxony.
Blade L 89 cm, total L 100.5 cm.
Single-edged, curved blade with a double-edged point and a narrow fuller in the back. Crowned monogram "AR" on both sides. Iron hilt with simple line pattern. Grip covered with leather and 11 turns of twisted wire. Thumb ring and rectangular central iron. Blade chipped.
"Blades of the type described were used in the Carabinier-Garde regiment, in the Dragoon and Chevaulegers regiments and by the Polish Uhlans".
