Sword for generals.
Beginning of the 18th century. Saxony.
Blade L 75 cm, total L 91 cm.
Straight double-edged blade with hexagonal cross-section. Engraved and gilded monogram "FA" with an elector's hat on both sides. Plate-like guard plate. This, as well as the ball pommel, quillons and knuckle-bow with a braided pattern in relief. Cast grip with imitation winding.
