Steinschloß - double shotgun of the Grand Duke Carl Friedrich of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.
Barrel marked: "Joh. Andre Kuchenreiter an Regensburg" and an inlaid mark on each barrel (1758 - 1808, court gunsmith to the Princes of Thurn und Taxis).
L 122 cm.
Two smooth barrels, inscribed and marked. Both lock parts decorated identically. Slender handle with cross pattern and inlaid ornaments. Silver fittings. Ramrod and front sight. On trigger guard inscribed monogram CF (for Carl Friedrich 1783 - 1853), butt plate with engraved coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar and decorations. In good condition according to age, function not tested.
