A chamois and 2 stag calves. Nymphenburg.
Embossed mark, 20th century
2x white, 1x polychrome painted.
1x model no. 515, 19th century design by Sebastian Habenschaden (1813-1868), new design from 1914: chamois standing on a rock base (h 16.5 cm). / 2x model no. 460, design from around 1770 by Dominikus Auliczek (1734-1804), reworked in 1906 by Theodor Kärner (1884-1966): recumbent stag calves (h 6 cm).
About the chamois buck: "The Nymphenburg manufactory has several animal sculptures by the Munich artist Sebastian Habenschadenden. Munich artist Sebastian Habenschaden (1813 - 1868) and sculpted them between 1910 and 1920." (Petra Werner, in: Catalog: Auf der Pirsch - Jagdbare Tiere in Porzellan, Porzellanikon (vol. 117), Hohenberg a.d. Eger 2015, p. 40/cat. no. 32) Regarding the stag calves: these are described in the Porzellanmanufaktur Nymphenburg figurine list as "lying small deer", although they have the typical characteristics of a stag calf. (Compare catalog: Auf der Pirsch - Jagdbare Tiere in Porzellan, Porzellanikon (vol. 117), Hohenberg a.d. Eger 2015, p. 34/cat. no. 20).
