"Willi Eduard Heinrich Münch-Khe (1885 - 1961) attended the Karlsruhe Academy after an apprenticeship as a glass painter from 1904 to 1907 at the Karlsruhe Academy. From 1908 to 1910, he was a drawing teacher at the School of Arts and Crafts in Karlsruhe. He received his first commissions as a painter and designer from the Karlsruhe Majolica Manufactory. In 1912/1913, he worked in the painting workshop of the Meissen porcelain manufactory. From 1925 to 1932, he also supplied models to the Meissen manufactory. As early as 1924, Otto Pelka counted him among a number of artists who already enjoyed a "sonorous name". Many of his mostly small sculptural works were executed not only in porcelain, but preferably in Böttger stoneware."
