Pair of pointed goblets with the coat of arms of the von der Gabelentz family. Josephinenhütte.

Colorless glass. H 28.5 cm.
Conical bowl with a pierced bubble rim in the base, solid shaft, round foot; spherical base. On the front an engraved medallion with the coat of arms of the von der Gabelentz family, inscribed "E. A. H. C. A. V. D. Gabelentz. Z.P.".
The glasses were probably gifts on the occasion of the wedding of Olga, née von Helldorff, to Albrecht von der Gabelentz in 1903.
Provenance : From Thuringian aristocratic property. Restitution property with inventory number of the Altenburg Residential Palace, formerly part of the von der Gabelentz family collection at Poschwitz Castle.
