Baroque mug with shepherd motif. Meissen.
Sword mark, around 1750.
Polychrome painted, gilt. Cup (h 6.5 cm), original saucer (Ø 13 cm).
Bell-shaped cup with rocaille handle. Light purple ground, on both sides of the cup a cartouche with the depiction of a shepherd with a sheep, in the mirror of the saucer the depiction of a rat catcher. Haarriss and bump on the handle.
