Infantry officer's sword with older Prussian blade and scabbard.
Blade probably 18th century. Prussian.
Total length 103 cm.
Straight, double-edged blade with hexagonal cross-section, slightly rounded point. Gilt inscription "Pro Gloria et Patria" on both sides of the central ridge. Old style IOD hilt with traces of gilding. Black leather scabbard with crease mark and also gilded ferrules.
