"Friderike Wilhelmine Caroline Königinn von Baiern" and her husband "Maximilian Joseph, König von Baiern". Two oval portraits as hip pieces, engraved by Jos. Rauschmayr after paintings by Moritz Kellerhoven, between 1806-1815.
Kellerhoven was a portrait painter and etcher who studied at the Düsseldorf Academy of Art. From 1784, he was court painter in Munich under Elector Karl Theodor, where he helped to reorganize the Academy of Fine Arts from 1808. He was regarded as a portraitist of the celebrities of his time and also produced prints himself. / Rauschmayer is primarily known as a printmaker.
