Very large Madonna
Plastic filled, polychrome painted, partly gilded. 2nd half 20th century. H 143 cm. 39.4 kg.
Mary in a late Gothic form in a pleated robe, stepping on a face and thus appearing as the Immaculata. While she carries the naked infant Jesus in her left arm, she holds a gilded apple in front of him with her right. Some staining to the mantle, otherwise minimal signs of age/use.
