Shrouded woman in profile in front of bare branches.
Bohemian painter, graphic artist, photographer and medalist, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 1889 to 1893. From 1899 to 1905 he was a member of the Vienna Secession alongside Gustav Klimt, from 1905 professor at the State Teaching Institute of the Berlin Museum of Decorative Arts, teacher of George Grosz and Hannah Höch, among others.
