Portrait with feminine features in frontal view, on her forehead a colorful bird, also frontal, two further birds as accessories at shoulder height at the lower edge of the picture.
German painter, draughtsman, sculptor and graphic artist. Although some of his works were confiscated in 1960 due to alleged "immorality", he is considered one of the few style-defining artists of our time and was the only German artist to be accepted into the Paris "Académie des Beaux Arts".
