Imitation veneer lacquer, white lacquered wood as imitation ivory, brass, colored overprint, felt. 11 x 33 x 26 cm.
Sloping desk box, richly decorated with ornamental appliqués; view of the opera with passers-by on the hinged lid. Inside, slanted writing surface, covered with blue felt, above compartments for the two brass containers (inkwell and inkpot) as well as various compartments. In need of restoration.
