Huth: painter, draughtsman and graphic artist, studied at the arts and crafts schools in Erfurt and Stuttgart. Worked as a freelance painter in Berlin from 1919. Member of the Berlin Secession and the Deutscher Künstlerbund. 1947-1957 Professor at the Academy in Berlin, belongs to the so-called "Lost Generation".
