Indistinct stamp: "Pinter Bela...". Passepartout, as new glazed silver frame. Partially foxed, stained, corners, two edges defective.
Rippl-Ronai: Hungarian painter, graphic artist, designer and applied artist between Impressionism, Symbolism and Art Nouveau. Studied at the academy in Munich. In 1887 he was a pupil of Mihály Munkácsy in Paris. In 1890 he turned away from scholarly academism and went through various artistic phases. Returned to Kaposvár in 1902. Works in numerous Hungarian museums * Partner auction Bergmann.
