Baroque faience jug with floral cartouches.
18th century
White glaze, colored hot-fire painting, partly manganese-sponged. H 28.5 cm.
Cylindrical body with ribbon handle, 3 quatrefoil reserves on the front with flowering branches and floral frame decoration. Profiled pewter lid with ball pusher, punched inside, pewter band and pewter stand. Slightly cracked, partial glaze defects.
