Model by Carl Pott 1952, the so-called "Kanzlerbesteck". Cutlery pattern no. 84. 58 pieces: 12 knives, 6 forks, 6 tablespoons, 6 dinner forks, 6 dinner spoons, 6 cake forks, 6 coffee spoons, 1 serving fork, 1 gravy ladle, 2 pie servers, 6 snail tongs. Design classics, solid, high-quality work, engraved monogram GK, knives with stainless steel blades. In addition to Ludwig Erhard's Chancellery, almost all German embassies were equipped with this cutlery. Hallmarks: Crescent and crown, fineness, factory mark.
The cutlery manufactory was founded by Carl Hugo Pott in 1904 as a damascening workshop in Solingen. After his son Carl Pott joined the company in 1932, it developed into a major manufacturer of cutlery. In 1985, his son Hannspeter Pott took over the business. Pott's "Historical Models" will continue to be produced once a year by pre-order * Partner auction Bergmann.
