Ottoman gold box with diamonds, rubies and emeralds from Sultan Abdülhamid II.
Corpus: 585 yellow gold (14 kt), applications in 750 (18 kt) and 916 (22 kt) yellow gold, some diamonds in silver setting. 3 x 6.5 x 10 cm. 154.5 grams.
The cover with floral and ornamental elements, military trophies and the sultan's tughra (name), the flags each with an appliquéd crescent moon with a five-pointed star. Appliqués with 13 emeralds, 16 rubies and around 410 diamonds in various sizes. Rounded rectangular shape, hinged lid with drop-bolt clasp. Hallmarks: Mark for imported objects, Yugoslavia from 1933. With gold analysis by Ott in Nuremberg, 17.05.2021.
