Large rosewood veneered casket with mother-of-pearl inlays; mostly mahogany veneered inside. Slanted writing surface covered in red leather. Above pen tray and compartments as well as secret compartment with 2 drawers. / Small casket with mahogany sides, the lid veneered in softwood with brass inlays; walnut and mahogany veneer inside, some with recent lacquer. Slanted writing surface covered with red leather; above it a pen tray and compartments for inkwells. Some signs of age/use.
