Golden ladies' pocket watch with elaborate enamel color painting.
Circa 1890/1900. Case No. 32463.
Unmarked movement with cylinder escapement, tire balance and crown winding. Functional in short time test. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and leaf hands.
14 k hallmarked, copper dust cover. Ø 3.5 cm, L approx. 36.5 cm. Total weight 45 g.
Finely chased lepine case, verso in oval medallion a girl at the window watering the flowers, in front of her 2 doves courting. On an Amerik metal link chain with small spring ring. Scratch marks on the enamel painting, dial hairline cracked, tip of the hour hand missing.
Provenance : From a private household in Hesse.
