Small baroque silver verge pocket watch. Archibald Collier, London.

"Arch[ibald] Collier, London" signed brass full plate movement with florally engraved balance cock and florally pierced verge bridge, cylindrical movement pillars, verge escapement, chain and fusee, blued screws, keywind. Functional in short-term test, revision necessary. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and added spade hands.
Strolling lion/city mark London/year letter n (1788)/master's mark WL and customs mark King George III (1786-1821) hallmarked. Clock Ø 4.5 cm, mantle Ø 5.2 cm. Total weight 104 g.
Smooth case with high bridge. Smooth silver watch mantle. Signs of age and wear, dial with defects, minute hand loose, hour hand blocked, 1 loose gear wheel attached, traces of soldering.
