From a supplementary delivery from KPM Berlin for the dinner service for Heinrich Graf von Podewils (1696-1760) produced by the Meissen porcelain manufactory. Multi-pass soup plate with six scallops in relief on the rim and Indian flower painting. On the rim the crowned coat of arms of the von Podewils family held by two Prussian eagles on a console decorated with laurel branches. Minimal gold abrasion.
Heinrich von Podewils received an extensive Meissen service as Prussian envoy to Saxony in 1740/41. Subsequent deliveries were made both in Meissen and in Berlin after the count's death.
