Classical lyre table clock with verge clock movement "Frères Esquivillon". Esquivillon Frères.
Geneva, Switzerland. Circa 1800-1820
Signed brass full plate movement with florally pierced balance bridge and floral engravings, verge escapement, profiled movement pillars, chain and fusee, keywind. Functional in short time test. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute ring and Breguet hands, signed "Frères Esquivillon".
Brass, wood, glass. Clock h approx. 19 cm, glass dome h 22.5 cm. 624 g.
Lyre shield on a tombshaped base with landscape engravings, in front of it a sun emblem with monogram JW, firmly mounted on an ebonized round base with glass lintel. Slight signs of age and wear, scratches.
