* Wolf-Thorn, née Wolf, modernist painter, draughtswoman and graphic artist, based in Berlin since 1883, studied at the Académie Colarossi in Paris, pupil of Gustave Courtois and Edmond Aman-Jean. In the mid-1890s, she added her birth name to that of her home town. Around 1895, student of Curt Hermann at the painting school for ladies. Represented at exhibitions in the Munich Glaspalast and the Berlin Secession. Married Rudolf Klein-Diepold in 1904, founded the exhibition association Verbindung Bildender Künstlerinnen with Käthe Kollwitz in 1906, member of the board of the Berlin Secession in 1912, member of the Hiddenseer Künstlerinnenbund in 1927.
