Neoclassical portal clock.
France. 2. H. 19th century
Unmarked movement with half-hour strike on bell. Not running, in need of overhaul and cleaning. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, minute ring with 31-day scale, inside days of the week in French and moon phase signs, Breguet hands and 2 hands for date and days of the week.
White alabaster, gilt brass. H 39.5 cm.
Column clock with high entablature and triangular pediment with antique-style fittings, hanging drapery, on a narrow rectangular base with 4 disc feet. Signs of age and wear, some small edge defects, traces of soldering on the pendulum, pendulum thread replaced, hour hand loose, 1 loose wheel attached.
