Marked by Kunstabteilung Stammwerk Selb, around 1925. model no. S 775. design: 1925. OPPEL, Gustav (1891 Volkstedt - 1978 Berlin)
White, gold-stamped dial. H 34 cm.
Clock case with roof-like crowning, Apollo seated on the left with sun disk as personification of the day and Selene seated on the right with crescent moon as personification of the night. oval fitting curved base with four vegetal feet. Clock running. With key and pendulum. 2 tips of the crowning glued, restoration to the left bundle of rays, 3 hands old restored and partly defective, left arm of Apollo glued, gold rubbed, hinge of the clockwork cover broken (cover loosely attached).
